Founded in 1997 as Screen Pages and acquired by Pindar Graphics in 2006, our ecommerce services team has brought development expertise to the company derived from the Pindar Graphics portfolio of over 150 websites.

Our team’s sophisticated site designs incorporate data gathering tools that inform the customer engagement process. We also use website traffic data to provide the foundation for a host of personalisation initiatives that can strengthen online relationships, enhance customer loyalty and have a positive impact on retail performance.

Our challenge as an ecommerce service provider was to meet our clients’ requirements to provide a seamless, easy to implement and cost effective online payment solution.

What our clients needed was a ready made, fast to implement online payment system that would be simple to administer and audit.

In 2004 Pindar Graphics (formerly Screen Pages) became partners with Protx to meet customer demand for a full payment authorisation and processing solution.

One of the attractions of partnering with Protx was that in 2004 they already had 10,000 merchants using Protx exclusively for online payments, and this was a growing figure.

Another attraction is that the Protx offering is accessible commercially and technically to small and medium sized businesses.

The integration of Protx proved to be straightforward.

In 2007 we also worked closely with Protx to upgrade our ecommerce offering so that it included 3D Secure cardholder authentication to ensure that we are up-to-date with the very latest fraud screening technology.

Pindar Graphics currently has 20 clients using Protx.

The Protx solution has helped our clients to dramatically reduce their invalid orders and has provided a fast return on investment for our mail order companies. The scaleable pricing enables our smaller clients to start small and grow.

Now that Protx are part of Sage we feel more strongly that the service is a great fit for our customers.

The company was formed in 2002 as a global communications agency. Most of our activity consists of designing websites.

Our clients’ websites are sometimes pretty straight forward with a standard shopping cart solution connected to an online payment facility. However, more often than not our clients require complex applications. For example, they may have several languages to manage, or they may require several currencies available for payments, an online stock management system, password protected area for distributors, or a dynamic pricing solution for delivery.

We therefore needed to source an online payment solution that could handle the complex requirements of our clients.

We evaluated quite a few payment gateways, and found that Protx offered the most cost effective solution for our clients as well as being adaptable and the easiest system to implement.

We had no problems integrating with Protx. Their technical support has always been there to help us and we made good use of if in the first 2-3 ecommerce websites we built. We can now implement a Protx payment gateway solution with our eyes closed! Running through the Protx test server to the Protx live server does not take us more than 5 working days.

For the past 4 years we have used a Protx payment solution for all the projects we have managed, without exception, because of the level of service Protx provides to our customers.
