Small Business Service
If you are a small business and expect to process under 1,000 transactions a quarter our Small Business Service is for you. All Protx will charge is £20 per month, with no set up fees or transaction charges. If you process over 1,000 transactions a quarter you will be automatically migrated onto our Corporate Business Service.
Requirements
To apply for our Small Business Service you must meet the following requirements:
You should apply for our Small Business Service if you are a new or small business wishing to trade online, and you expect to process under 1,000 transactions per quarter.
To use our service we do require that you obtain a with one of the that we work with in order to settle your payments. This is because Protx is a payment gateway only, and we do not provide merchant services at this time.
If you wish to take website payments you will need to set up an internet merchant account which is specific to this type of payment.
If you wish to take payments over the telephone you will need to set up a mail order/telephone order (MOTO) merchant account.
Your merchant account fees are in addition to the Protx charges.
To use our services you will also need a website and a shopping cart that allows your customers to select the products they wish to purchase. Please visit our partner section if you need help setting up your website or choosing a shopping cart provider.
